15 Inspiring Quotes On Mindfulness

It a beautiful day to be mindful, isn’t it? I have been going through some wonderful quotes on mindfulness today and I just can’t wait to share some of those with you.

If you have been reading my posts then you know how I’m trying to incorporate mindful living in my day to day activities. To know what you have, be grateful for that and be conscious of everything you do, however insignificant, that is mindfulness to me. And I have been taking baby steps towards achieving that.

Today, when our lives are wrought with stress, anxiety, and hyper-connectivity, this simple concept of living in the present can actually help us a lot. I was a skeptic earlier. I often found myself asking if being mindful is just living in the present. How could we do that when being farsighted was also essential. I wasn’t convinced of the usefulness of being mindful.

But I have seen it work, gradually and slowly, over the past couple of weeks. Something as trivial as knowing that I need to keep aside my phone to be with my daughter, enjoy our moment together, that is mindfulness to me. Taking a walk while breathing in fresh air, even if for a few minutes, that is what being mindful is to me. And I have been doing that for a month or so. And I have to say that it has helped me a lot. Really.

So, today, I leave you with some beautiful quotes on mindfulness. Maybe one of these would be able to convince you to try it in your life too.

Stay present for the “now” of your life. It’s your point of power. ― Doug Dillon

Stop, breathe, look around and embrace the miracle of each day, the miracle of life. ― Jeffrey A. White
